Mayfair CDC's Board of Directors:

Reese Hartey was born in South Philadelphia. After graduating, he joined the United States Navy, where he served aboard nuclear-powered attack submarines. He received an honorable discharge in 1981 with several medals, ribbons, and commendations. He then began his civilian career at the Naval Warfare Center, where he is currently the Integrated Logistic Support Program Manager for the Station.

Since moving to Mayfair, he has been involved in the community. He started coaching in 1988, but became heavily involved in 1991 when he became president of the Mayfair Civic Association. He now sits on several boards and committees as well as being the MCDC’s chairman. Reese still lives in Mayfair today with his wife and four boys.

Mike Driscoll attended LaSalle College, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University. Since graduation, he has worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as Deputy Secretary for General Services, Philadelphia Recycling, Inc., and he owns Finnigan's Wake. Michael is also on the board of Glenn Ford Historic Mansion and the Philadelphia Commercial Development Corporation. He volunteers at organizations such as the Delaware River Yacht Club and St. Martin of Tours' Alumni Committee. He has received many distinguished awards including Businessman of the Year.

Bob Formica is a World War Two veteran. He served in the Army from 1942 to 1985 and retired as a Full Colonel, going on to work for the Navy as a civilian. He is a graduate of Temple University and has been with the CDC since the beginning in 2000.


Kathy Krimm attended St. Matt’s and St. Hubert’s High School and is a legal secretary. She is a lifelong resident of Mayfair. Kathy has been with the CDC for 3 years and serves as secretary.


Ken Kucowski has been a Mayfair resident since the age of 4. He graduated from Father Judge High School and has worked for the government at the Navy Yard for 26 years. Ken is currently married with three children. He coaches baseball, basketball and soccer for the Holy Terrors. He has raised funds to build a playground for Fox Chase Cancer Center and started the MPK Scholarship Fund for St. Hubert’s and Father Judge High Schools. He started on the board in 2000.


Teri Gumbrecht is married with two children and graduated from Lincoln High School. Her husband Patrick is from Mayfair. Teri has been in the banking industry for seventeen years, for the last three as an Officer and Manager with Commerce Bank at their Knights and Woodhaven branch. She only recently joined the board of the CDC but is very active in other organizations in our community.

Rose McMenamin began her banking career in 1980 as a Customer Service Representative and is now Vice President of Business Development for Third Federal Bank’s entire network in Philadelphia, Bucks, and Mercer counties. Rose founded the Leadership Development Program as well as the Greater Northeast Chamber of Commerce Foundation, whose focus is to select and award scholarships to area students. She is affiliated with many community organizations and boards. She serves as Mayfair CDC's treasurer.
